Why Have An Office In PeeJay ?

Petaling Jaya, popularly known as PeeJay or PJ is now fast becoming the choice location for office space tenancy.  Why this new emerging trend, one may ask?  Well, the reasons are many and varied in these times of uncertainty (and opportunity). 

The drastic speed at which the financial crisis has hit Asia (and Malaysia is not excepted), has caused business owners to rethink.  

Yes, re-thinking 'out of the box' is now the buzz word among business people.

PJ which is going through its own regeneration, is also creating new sub- hubs which marries business and residential areas into a single entity.  One such hub is PJU Damansara Perdana.

Next to Damansara Perdana is The Curve, the hottest retailing and el fresco dining spot in the 'northern' Golden Triangle.  This shopping mall is fast overtaking 1 Utama as the place to be seen in PJ.   The new maxim is for Klang Valley urbanites is now known as 'WEEL' or Work-Eat-Entertain-Live, all within the same corridor.

Now, the reasons which support the above observation for the evident shift from tradional popular areas such as the KL CBD, are (1) cost savings of over 50%, (2) less stress due to less traffic, less urbanisation and more greenery, and (3) time saving due to proximity to one's own home.

With Grade A quality offices now coming up, the prime office addresses are now evolving to Petaling Jaya's postcode.  A couple of good examples, just take a look at IBM's and KPMG's postcodes...  this is a very REAL sign for more eye-popping changes to come...
